CMA CGM (America) LLC announced that it will launch a new dedicated export reefer customer service desk March 30, 2009.

CMA CGM (America) LLC announced that it will launch a new dedicated export reefer customer service desk March 30, 2009. The new Export Reefer Customer Service Desk will be based in the Norfolk VA office and will give export refrigerated cargo customers access to a dedicated team of customer service representatives. They can help customers place or modify bookings, track and trace cargo, process documentation, and/or assist with problem resolution.

The company provides door-to-door reefer logistics systems for customers in each of the major reefer trades. Reefer professionals work with clients to provide safe and reliable transport of perishable products worldwide. Specialized services cover all types of temperature-controlled cargo—frozen, chilled, or humidity-controlled.

CMA CGM operates a fleet of modern, environmentally friendly reefer containers and gensets for direct transportation of chilled or frozen consignments. With the recent acquisition of 5,000 new reefers, the company’s total reefer fleet is now more than 95,000 TEUs.
