Bridgestone Commercial Solutions (BCS), a division of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, recently launched a multi-platform mobile app for its Bridgestone Everywhere Network (ben), a dealer locator designed to connect truckers to the resources they need when they need them most.

By selecting their location or entering a new location, truckers can find service, products, or emergency help, complete with pinpoint maps offering directions to the most suitable dealers or truck stops.

“Bridgestone Everywhere Network is the ultimate resource for today’s trucker,” said Scott Damon, vice-president, marketing, BCS. “From your tablet or smart phone, truckers can now get the Bridgestone, Firestone, or Bandag services they need with a few simple clicks. It keeps truckers safer, more connected, and more productive than ever before.”

Truckers can search results by one or any combination of emergency service, dealer or location, 24-hour service, and tow service. Users can zoom, scroll, and view the best road maps and directions to a service provider they choose.

The application also features truck stop or dealer service capabilities, proximity, and hours of operation. Users can also save service provider contact information in their favorites.

Supported on Android, Blackberry, and iPhone platforms, ben can be downloaded on a mobile phone for free at Apple, Android, or Blackberry marketplaces.

This mobile app complements Bridgestone’s online dealer locator, www.notifyben.com.
