Natures Choice Produce Inc, a grower and shipper of watermelons, has renewed its contract to ship products on pallets from CHEP, which offers pallet and container pooling services. The company uses CHEP pallets to transport Natures Choice brand watermelons from farms in Immokalee, Zolfo Springs, Marianna, and Malone FL to supermarket retailers, wholesale clubs, and distributors throughout the eastern half of the United States.

One of a number of National Watermelon Association (NWA) members to use pallets from CHEP, Natures Choice supports the NWA-CHEP partnership that is working to improve the way watermelons are transported from grower to retailer. As part of the program, CHEP helps fund several of the trade group’s many activities, including research, lobbying, and consumer promotion.

More than a dozen NWA members are seeing the value and benefits of CHEP pallet pooling.
