Dot Foods Inc has been named Redistributor of the Year by Golbon Group for its growth and service to Golbon’s distributors. Dot Foods provides service to almost all of Golbon’s members and has had a relationship with the group for more than 20 years. The announcement was made by Randy Taylor, president of Golbon, at the organization’s semi-annual national meeting in Boise ID.

“The Dot Foods team stands above everyone else, providing our members with the best possible service, year over year,” said Taylor. “Dot has assisted our members in increasing sales, but without a doubt, the continued support we receive from Dot Foods is what we most appreciate.”

Dot Foods representatives work with distributor members of Golbon to provide training; update members on current market conditions, products available, and promotion opportunities; and assist in increasing member sales. The redistributor also serves as a link between the members and more than 600 approved suppliers.

Mike Duggan, vice-president of group sales, Dot Foods, said, “Golbon Group has a large network of members and suppliers in the industry, and to have this title from them is a wonderful honor for us.”

Carrying 100,000 products from 700 food industry manufacturers, Dot Foods delivers foodservice, convenience, retail, and vending food products, equipment, and supplies to distributors in all 50 states. It operates eight distribution centers in Modesto CA, Vidalia GA, Burley ID, Mt Sterling IL, Cambridge City IN, Williamsport MD, Liverpool NY, and Ardmore OK.
