SkyBitz is expanding its suite to include cellular-based GPS tracking options.

SkyBitz is expanding its suite to include cellular-based GPS tracking options. Leveraging the network from KORE Telematics, a digital wireless services provider specializing in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications, the new suite of SkyBitz systems will include both GSM- and CDMA-capable devices. The agreement with KORE now enables SkyBitz to provide a single source for M2M systems.

This expanded suite is ideal for local delivery, waste management, and truckload operations that have a need for a high level of reporting. The new product design also allows for easier installation on flatbed operations. SkyBitz customers can enjoy greater security and information transparency to their operations with the addition of compatible sensors. Plus, customers can obtain speed, heading, mileage, arrival, and departure notifications.

Information is delivered to end-users via SkyBitz’s InSight Asset Management Tool, a software application for tracking, monitoring, and managing a range of assets.
