Field’s Pies manages food safety risk by using ReposiTrak systems

ReposiTrak, provider of compliance management and track & trace systems for food safety, is now being used by Field’s Pies Inc, an Oklahoma-based frozen pie baker best known for its pecan pies.
Field’s Pies uses ReposiTrak’s Compliance Management system to share its food safety documents downstream with its Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates (ROFDA) wholesale customers. It is also using ReposiTrak’s Track & Trace system to track the source of its ingredients through production planning.

Powered by Park City Group’s technology, the ReposiTrak platform helps manage regulatory, financial, and brand risk associated with issues of food safety in the supply chain.
The platform consists of two systems. The Compliance Management system not only receives, stores, and shares documentation, but also manages compliance through dashboards and alerts for missing or expired documents. The Track & Trace system quickly identifies the supply chain path taken by a product in case of a product recall. It can reduce the risk in the supply chain by identifying backward-chaining sources and forward-chaining recipients of products in near real time.
