Field Fresh Foods acquires Superior Fresh Cuts LLC

Field Fresh Foods Inc has announced its purchase of the assets of Superior Fresh Cuts LLC, a regional fresh-cut produce processor serving Southern California foodservice distributors and industrial customers.
Superior Fresh Cuts’ operations will be consolidated into the Field Fresh Foods processing facility in Los Angeles CA.
Emelio Castaneda, president and chief executive officer of Field Fresh Foods, has assured that all customers will be able to take advantage of the company’s state-of-the-art processing and distribution capabilities, quality systems, buying power, and 24-hour service. The transition is expected to be seamless and mutually beneficial.
This acquisition will reinforce Field Fresh Foods’ position as a regional produce processor. Castaneda has said Field Fresh Foods became a leader in the market due to its market focus and willingness to be innovative.
