Josh England, president of Salt Lake City UT-based transportation provider C R England, has announced the appointment of Mitch England as vice-president of driver relations and the promotion of Lisa Callister as vice-president of human resources.
Mitch England, who previously served as the company’s vice-president of human resources, will take on duties in a newly created position adding emphasis to England’s efforts to attract and keep the best drivers in their fleets. Callister was promoted from her position as director of human resources.
Serving with the company since 2007, Mitch England was vice-president of human resources, director of maintenance support, and director of fuel. In his new position, he will oversee the Payroll, Independent Contractor, Driver Advocates, and Reception groups.
Mitch England was instrumental in C R England’s creation and implementation of SAE field testing, which tests the efficiency and environmental impact of new equipment and technology. These testing center efforts resulted in the utilization of side skirts and aero kits. Mitch England was selected as one of six recipients as an EPA SmartWay champion in 2011 for his significant contributions to creating and implementing green initiatives at C R England.
Callister joined the company in October 2013 as director of human resources. In her new role, she will oversee a full spectrum of human resources leadership initiatives for the C R England employee base nationwide.
Previously, she was vice-president, human resources and organizational effectiveness at Zions Bancorporation. Prior to that position, Callister worked in human resources, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations roles in Los Angeles CA for Grifols Inc, a Spain-based biotechnology company; and Countrywide Financial Corporation.
