Central Grocers Inc adopts ReposiTrak to manage its food safety-related risk

ReposiTrak Inc announced that the eighth member of ROFDA (Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates)—Central Grocers Inc, also known as Centrella—has chosen ReposiTrak to manage its food safety-related risk.
“The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations will require us to both manage and store thousands of vendor documents,” said Ken Nemeth, president and chief executive officer of Centrella. “We chose the ReposiTrak solution for its automated review of our documents. The dashboards and alerts for missing, inaccurate, or expired documents will enable one person to manage the compliance of our FSMA-required documentation.”
Powered by Park City Group’s technology, the ReposiTrak platform helps manage regulatory, financial, and brand risk associated with food safety in the global food supply chain.
This platform consists of two systems. The Compliance Management system not only receives, stores, and shares documentation, but also manages compliance through dashboards and alerts for missing, expired or inaccurate documents. The Track & Trace system quickly identifies the supply chain path taken by a product in case of a product recall. It can reduce the risk in the supply chain by identifying backward-chaining sources and forward-chaining recipients of products in near real-time.
