Front Row Produce, a family-owned wholesaler and distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, celebrated its tenth anniversary by moving to a new, state-of-the-art distribution center in Overland MO.
This 57,000-square-foot facility doubles the firm’s distribution footprint and features refrigerated and freezer storage areas, a temperature-controlled dock area, and office space.
The distribution center extends the company’s commitment to create a ” best in class” warehouse  that offers improved modularity to meet evolving customer needs. InsulWall, Randall Manufacturing’s insulated curtain wall, was selected to create five refrigerated storage rooms. The curtain wall’s modularity and flexibility was key to Front Row Produce achieving its vision of being able to easily reconfigure refrigeration and freezer areas when customer needs change.
Justin Howell, Front Row Produce’s general manager, said, “We recognized that we had options to traditional rigid walls, such as InsulWall, to create modular, flexible refrigerated and freezer storage areas.”
After reviewing a variety of wall systems, Front Row Produce selected InsulWall for its ability to perform in food environments and its thin profile—1" and 2"—that made it ideal for placement between racking. In addition, the flexibility to reconfigure cooler areas provided Front Row Produce the ability to be a dynamic, nimble distribution center.
Tony Pupillo Sr, Front Row Produce’s president and owner, said, “We monitor each cooler’s temperature to maintain strict product integrity guidelines. InsulWall is performing well at maintaining each cooler’s temperature and keeping our business fresh.”
Founded in March 2004, Front Row Produce is a repacker, wholesaler, and distributor for fresh fruits and vegetables.  The company sells to both foodservice distributors and retail stores, and it employs 100 individuals.
Randall Manufacturing provides insulated wall systems to warehouses, distribution centers, and workplaces. Its product offerings include InsulWall; vinyl, warehouse curtain dividers called Industrial Curtain Walls; and insulated pallet covers.
