DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist of the Deutsche Post DHL Group, has introduced its new LifeTrack mobile app.
The free application grants users on-the-go access to DHL’s online cold chain tracking and management platform LifeTrack. This provides users in the life sciences and healthcare industries an overview of their shipments, alerts about any in-transit issues, and instant support through round-the-clock access to cold chain experts. The LifeTrack mobile app is available for iOS and Android systems and ready for download in the respective app stores.
Current users of DHL Thermonet and LifeConex services can access the app with the same credentials as the web browser version. Once logged in, the application shows shipment details including routing, movement milestones, and potential interventions. Upon completion of key logistical events or detection of potential irregularities, the app informs the user and also provides details about measures taken where required. In case further support is needed, DHL’s cold chain advisors can be contacted 24/7 directly from the app.
The LifeTrack app complements the other mobile solutions DHL Global Forwarding, Freight launched in recent years to strengthen client efficiency and increase transparency over the shipments. Among those are DHL ActiveTracing to track and trace groupage shipments, and the Cargo Mobile Tracking app to trace sea and air freight shipments.
The LifeTrack app is available on regular and official app stores for the platforms iOS and Google Play.
