Bay & Bay Transportation recently unveiled a Freightliner Evolution truck featuring a bold, custom-designed patriotic theme. The image honors those who have served in the US military, especially prisoners of war and those missing in action. The custom artwork includes a black-and-white photo taken of Dave Anderson, founder of Bay & Bay Transportation, while serving in Vietnam in 1966. He died in 2009.
“Our company has always had a strong affiliation with the US military because of my dad’s service in the Marines,” said Sam Anderson, Dave’s son and current president and chief executive officer of Bay & Bay. “It’s become part of the fabric of our company and who we are.” The new patriotic truck joins nine other custom-designed Bay & Bay company trucks on the nation’s highways. Founded in 1941, Bay and Bay offers the security of an asset-based carrier with the resources of a world-class 3PL. The company manages transportation of refrigerated, dry van, dry tank, flatbed, LTL, and intermodal shipments in the United States and Canada. Learn more at www.bayandbay.com.
