Voxware becomes a vocal ally in fight to ease hunger
Voxware, an independent voice application company and provider of Cloud-based voice solutions, announced the successful implementation of its flagship Cloud Voice Management Suite (VMS) at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, a four-star rated charity serving 17 of New Jersey’s 21 counties.
In less than three months, Voxware has already reduced the length of picking shifts by 30% for the organization’s item selectors, allowing cross-trained staff members to spend more time tending to other tasks throughout the facilities.
“We’re excited about our early results with Voxware, especially with respect to the positive impact the software has had on our staff” said Michael Jordan, director of operations for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. “Not only have we been able to reduce the time spent picking, but our team members also have adapted to the software quickly and enthusiastically. Our top pickers are looking forward to picking with Voxware during our upcoming busy season.”
From two facilities with a combined footprint of 315,000 square feet, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey distributed more than 44 million pounds of food in the past year. Demand is expected to rise this year, especially during the last three months of the calendar year.
Voxware’s Cloud VMS allows companies to take advantage of voice-directed picking while saving on upfront capital costs. The subscription-based pricing model allows companies and organizations of all sizes to experience accuracy and efficiency gains that voice can provide without the need to build supporting data warehouses or other tech infrastructure.
“We are proud to partner with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, enabling them to serve more families in need across the Garden State,” said Keith Phillips, president and chief executive officer of Voxware.
