Transportation and logistics provider Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN) was recently named among the 2016 Most Valuable Employers for Military.

CivilianJobs.com selected winners based on recruiting, training, and retention plans that best serve military service members and veterans. The distinction serves to help identify top employers for military-experienced job applicants and veterans seeking civilian careers.

Since 2011, Werner has hired more than 7,550 veterans and has pledged to hire 2,000 veterans in 2016. Since May 2013, the firm has hired more than 400 veteran spouses.
