It’s now easier for small and medium trucking companies to offer online job applications to truck driver applicants. MyCDLapp.com, a Michigan-based company, provides a low-cost way to implement attractive, web-based driver employment applications and consent forms that are mobile-ready and allow for electronic signatures on any device.

“Our mission is simple: provide a tool that allows carriers to simplify and accelerate what they already do every day—and offer it at a cost they can afford,” said Brandon Lawrence, customer service manager at MyCDLapp.com.

“For only $39.95 per month, MyCDLapp.com offers a fully customizable online employment application that is FMCSA-compliant, mobile-ready and accepts digital signatures. It can be deployed in minutes without the need for costly technical support or software downloads,” he said.

When carriers register with MyCDLapp.com, they are assigned a unique application link (URL) for their private application form. That link can be displayed on the trucking company’s website as well as in their job postings. The link can also be shared with driver candidates via email, text or verbally by phone.

This feature lets any carrier instantly receive driver applications along with signed consent forms, eliminating the wait for PDF documents to be emailed or faxed, and then printed and returned. The driver recruiter is notified by email when an application is completed and can log into MyCDLapp.com to view it along with the signed consent forms.
