The Allen Lund Company, through the coordination of Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), hosted an 18-person delegation from China-based Joyi Logistics recently.

The Allen Lund Company, through the coordination of Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), hosted an 18-person delegation from China-based Joyi Logistics recently.

Joyi Logistics sent its top executives to the United States to learn about advances in the supply chain and to explore opportunities in cross-border collaboration.

“It was an honor to host executives from Joyi Logistics.  We share many things in common including being a family business, commitment to great customer service and strong growth in new services. We look forward to a global friendship between our companies,” said Kenny Lund, vice-president of support operations.

Besides visiting Allen Lund Co headquarters  in Los Angeles, the delegation toured other companies in Southern California, Silicon Valley and Canada.

Joyi Logistics was founded in 1999 in the coastal province of Shandong, China. It provides supply solutions in transportation, warehousing, third-party logistics, logistics real estate and financing. The company has more than 1,200 offices throughout China with more than 3,000 employees and a fleet of 1,800 vehicles.

A national third-party transportation broker with nationwide offices and more than 400 employees, the Allen Lund Co works with shippers and carriers across the nation to arrange refrigerated (specializing in produce), dry and flatbed freight. The firm has a logistics and software division, ALC Logistics, and an International Division licensed by the FMC.
