Alert Gps Inc announced a new electronic logging device (ELD) mandate compliance solution for optimizing fleet management—the Alert ELD system. The new system records hours of service (HOS) and is registered and certified with the US Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

The Alert ELD system is ideal for fleet owners who want to reduce HOS violations and paperwork while improving safety. It features GPS fleet tracking software integrated with an ELD, providing an easy-to-use, real-time tracking solution for complying with the ELD mandate. The system can also help fleet managers increase productivity, improve HOS recording accuracy, save fuel and time, reduce company costs, improve safety and security, enhance customer service and reduce unauthorized vehicle use.

Alert ELD’s platform enables users to remotely access back-end data and technical support, and can be customized to meet a variety of user needs. Users can log in from any device to view the location of their vehicles or assets, at any time. Alert notifications may also be set up to send out automatic messages when a violation has occurred.

The firm has partnered with Master Safety Inc to provide Alert ELD customers with free training for authorized personnel. Master Safety offers businesses an array of fleet management services, including DOT safety audit and compliance review preparation and representation; corrective action and safety management plans; weekly safety services and logbook auditing; IFTA returns, applications and audits; and HOS training and management services.
