Leading foodservice distributor US Foods has agreed to acquire All American Foods, a broadline distributor based in North Kingstown RI that generates annual sales of nearly $60 million.

Established in 1988, All American Foods has grown to offer more than 4,000 SKUs to nearly 1,000 customers throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Its addition of All American Foods will enhance US Food’s ability to serve customers in the US Northeast, an area of the nation heavily populated with independent restaurants.

US Foods welcomes All American Foods employees to the company. All American Foods will continue to operate out of the 65,000-square-foot facility from which it now operates.

“The growth All American Foods has experienced over the last three decades is proof that their business model and commitment to customer service is strong,” said John O’Carroll, Northeast region president, US Foods. “We are looking forward to building on All American Foods’ already strong reputation and bringing an even better experience to foodservice operators throughout southern New England.”

Completion of the transaction is anticipated to occur at the end of February. Terms of this transaction were not disclosed.

With nearly 25,000 employees and more than 60 locations, US Foods is headquartered in Rosemont IL and generates about $23 billion in annual revenue.
