The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will hold a webinar October 25, 2018 from 1 pm to 2 pm Eastern to provide food facility registrants with information regarding the 2018 Biennial Registration Renewal, which began Oct 1, 2018.
Owners, operators, or agents in charge of food facilities are required to submit their registration renewal between October 1 and December 31, 2018. The owner, operator, or agent in charge of the facility may also authorize an individual to submit the renewal on their behalf. Renewals can be submitted electronically through the FDA Industry Systems website; alternatively, renewals can be submitted via mail or fax using FDA Form 3537. This is the last biennial renewal period that the FDA will be accepting paper submissions, unless a waiver has been granted under 21 CFR 1.245.
This webinar will be an opportunity to see a quick demo of the system and answer any general questions related to registration renewal.
