SPI Logistics celebrates four decades with new website, logo, strategy

See how SPI Logistics is observing its 40th anniversary, including a new corporate brand strategy.

To mark its milestone 40th anniversary, SPI Logistics unveiled a new corporate brand strategy that includes a new website and logo.

SPI is one of North America’s oldest and most successful third-party logistics and transportation brokerage firms, providing a range of transportation services, including refrigerated, van, intermodal, heavy-haul and less-than-truckload and flatbed offerings.

“The outstanding independent business owners who comprise our agent family have deservedly earned a reputation as North America’s premier transportation network,” said Mitch Helten, SPI’s founder, chairman and CEO. “We will be celebrating an entire year of jubilee recognizing their success, and we are launching our new brand strategy to support their continuing greatness.  Only one-third of businesses reach their 10th anniversary, and it is a testament to our amazing field offices that we are celebrating our 40th anniversary by planning for our next 40 years.”

Joe Chandler, SPI president, said, “The new logo, website and web address (www.spi3pl.com) are better suited for today’s digital marketplace and do a better job of expressing the first-class, personalized customer service that our many field offices provide to the shipping public. SPI’s agents are the best in the business at making things easy for their customers, and our updated brand strategy is our effort to better publicize just how great they are.”

In conjunction with the branding launch SPI is announcing its “Aspire” campaign and the tagline “Daring to be Great.” Chandler said these themes arose out of extensive analyses conducted by an outside marketing and consulting firm.
