C.H. Robinson recently declared the winners of its 2022 Carrier of the Year awards.
Selected from the company’s network of more than 85,000 contract carriers, the award program this year recognizes 17 outstanding companies for exceptional quality of service and operational excellence, including timeliness, reliability, and adoption of technology to increase efficiencies for their businesses and customers.
The fifth annual celebration of outstanding carriers, slated for this week at C.H. Robinson’s Eden Prairie headquarters, includes an event that will bring together both 2021 and 2022 winners for an in-person ceremony. Honorees will receive prizes and further recognized through C.H. Robinson’s ongoing carrier appreciation initiatives, the company said.
“These awards are designed to recognize excellence in transportation, and this year’s winners went above and beyond in an extremely volatile market,” said Mac Pinkerton, president of North American surface transportation at C.H. Robinson. “There truly has never been a more interesting yet challenging time across the supply chain. The companies we honor (this year) have stepped up to the challenge by embracing new technology to ensure timely deliveries of critical items from medical supplies to in-home office equipment and more, amid a global pandemic.
“We are excited to reward and honor our strong and dedicated network of carriers at this year’s ceremony.”
C.R. England’s top carriers are equally excited to receive their awards.
“I am so excited to win this award,” said first-time winner Sergio Sanchez, owner of Southern Arizona Transport. “It is amazing to see an organization like C.H.
