Advertising Vehicles wraps nonprofit’s new reefer

April 10, 2024
The Healing Center plans to use the refrigerated box truck to transport over $500,000 worth of food every week to its Marketplace pantry in Cincinnati

Advertising Vehicles, a fleet graphics company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, recently donated a vinyl wrap for The Healing Center’s new refrigerated box truck through its nonprofit sponsorship program.

The new graphics feature the center’s signature colors, artwork that conveys the services it provides, and a depiction of the front of its building—all in an aesthetically pleasing package that shares the organization’s mission to “inspire hope, foster growth, meet needs, and build relationships.”

“We were incredibly excited to be chosen for the nonprofit sponsorship program,” Adrienne Wiley, The Healing Center executive director, said in a news release. “We worked really hard to raise $100,000 to be able to purchase this new box truck. The whole goal the entire time was to be able to wrap that and have our logo and our image and to raise awareness in the community for what it is that we’re doing. It was kind of like the end of the vision that we had for this when we raised the money for that truck.”

The reefer includes an Isuzu FTR truck chassis and Carrier Transicold Supra S7 transport refrigeration unit. Advertising Vehicles donated the time and materials associated with the truck’s wrap, including the design, printing, and installation. The truck will pick up donated food items five times a week from local Cincinnati retailers like Sam’s Club, Costco, and Target for the center’s Marketplace food pantry.
