The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) is offering two refrigerated-division webinars designed to deliver more temperature-controlled education over the next two months. The Oct. 21 and Nov. 6 events are based on popular TCA Refrigerated Meeting sessions, the association reported.
The “Refrigerated Cargo Claim Pains and Remedies” workshop set for Oct. 21 is a virtual Round 2 of the workshop presented this year in Colorado Springs, offering “valuable and actionable” insights, TCA said. The interactive session led by insurance underwriter Chris Montez and attorney Sam Rizzitelli will explore how top fleets avoid and remedy cargo claims and shipment rejections within the refrigerated supply chain.
“What tools do you have at your disposal to protect yourself from frivolous claims? Join us to learn how to manage your risk before the claim occurs, and how to respond when it does,” the association said in an email.
The cargo claims webinar is $29.99 for members and $49.99 for non-members but attendees of the 2025 TCA Refrigerated Meeting can register for the session free of charge, TCA said. Contact Elizabeth Nicholson for a discount code.
The “Future-Proofing Your Fleet: Smart Procurement Strategies Amid Tariffs and Market Uncertainty” webinar Nov. 6 will examine how the return of Section 232 and 301 tariffs has created fresh challenges for distributors, especially when making major investments in refrigerated trailers, and offer strategies for how carriers can use the volatility to their advantage.
“Join industry experts for a new perspective on navigating today’s economic shifts,” TCA stated. “This webinar will use current data and real-world case studies to show you how to leverage aggressive tariff policies to optimize your fleet investments, improve cost structures, and build operational resilience.
“Walk away with actionable insights to help you make smarter, more agile decisions in uncertain times.”
The procurement strategies webinar is free for TCA members and $99 for non-members.
