The Manual Wheel-Lok from Rite-Hite provides simple operation and full-time, clear communication in a cost-effective, versatile design.

The Manual Wheel-Lok from Rite-Hite provides simple operation and full-time, clear communication in a cost-effective, versatile design. It also safely secures a variety of trailer types, such as liftgate trailers and trailers with damaged or missing rear impact guards.

This manual wheel-based restraint provides full-time communication to dock personnel and the truck driver, which is just as critical to loading dock safety as the restraint itself.

Corner-Vu and Leveler-Vu, part of the Rite-Vu Light Communication System, enhance visual communication of the Wheel-Lok control box. As the forklift driver enters the trailer, Corner-Vu provides clear communication of the restraint status, free of any visual obstructions. When the forklift moves inside the trailer—where the driver is most at risk—Leveler-Vu confirms the restraint status. The Manual Wheel-Lok also offers interior and exterior LED lights and audible alarms as standard.

The Manual Wheel-Lok is easily positioned with minimal force and uses a 19-inch-high barrier that resists in excess of 32,000 pounds of pullout force. In addition, wheel guides provide on-center trailer positioning and ensure dock seal effectiveness. A driver’s side wheel guide is optional.

The unit uses few moving parts for reliability and virtually no maintenance. Its rugged design withstands all weather conditions and offers an optional cold-weather package that includes a snow pole and slush guard for easy snow removal. The Manual Wheel-Lok is an alternative to the Global Wheel-Lok, which positions automatically.
