PakSense debuts PUPs
PakSense Inc has announced the availability of the PakSense Ultra Printing Solution (PUPs).
PUPs enables users to print time and temperature data from PakSense Ultra Labels in an 8.5" x 11" format. Printouts feature a time and temperature graph and summary information including time within, below, and above range, receiving location, and activation time.
“Printouts are large, laser quality, easy to read, and are easily scanned or faxed,” said Nick Vealitzek, product manager at PakSense. “PUPs saves our customers time by providing quick access to historical time and temperature information in an easy-to-handle format.”
PUPs provides an alternative to legacy thermal roll printing systems, which are difficult to handle, smudge, and curl over time. In addition, PUPs eliminates the need to interface with a software program since a printout is automatically generated when the PakSense Ultra Reader is connected. PUPs can interface with any PakSense Ultra Contact or Ultra Wireless Reader. It provides an efficient way to access critical information so users can make accurate, on-the-spot decisions regarding product quality.
About the size of a sugar packet, PakSense Ultra Labels are a new class of temperature recorder for perishable products. Onboard lights flash if temperature abuse occurs, and all data collected by the label can be downloaded and graphed. Labels measure surface temperature of the object to which they are attached and do not require ongoing calibration to maintain accuracy. PakSense Ultra Labels are available in both contact and wireless models.
