ITW Insulated Products’ design goal for the DuroMax plastic return air bulkhead was to increase airflow and incorporate super-tough integrated pallet stops, a built-in debris screen, and a removable top design.

The quick-release removable top allows easy access to service and clean the refrigeration unit. A bottom quick-release kit is provided as an option. The DuroMax offers the industry an efficient, durable service-friendly two-piece plastic return air bulkhead.

ITW Insulated Products is also known for its insulated bulkheads: the Skinny Bun, Skinny Bun Lite, and Universal Bulkhead. The Skinny Bun insulated bulkhead name is a standard in the industry and a leader among bi-fold bulkheads. The new Skinny Bun Lite is lighter than the standard Skinny Bun yet still offers superior value and performance. According to ITW Insulated Products, the Universal Bulkhead is the first and only true “universal” transverse bulkhead that fits multiple trailer heights and widths.

ITW Insulated Products provides many other accessories such as air chutes, pop-up adapters, UniMax adapters, curtains, pallet covers, and blankets to protect temperature-sensitive products for foodservice and refrigerated transportation.

LaGrange GA-based ITW Insulated Products is a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), based in Glenview IL. ITW consists of more than 875 business units worldwide that are decentralized and focused on individual markets and customers. Its state-of-the-art research and development center works closely with each business unit to ensure that their businesses stay on the cutting edge of technology.
