Tanimura Distributing Inc (TDI) has chosen Novazone Inc's cold storage system to protect tomatoes stored at its expanded distribution facility in Irwindale CA. The distributor will install Novazone's patented system in its storage rooms, extending shelf life and improving purity and freshness of tomatoes.

Novazone's technology also delivers critical data, sensing capabilities, and automated alerts for monitoring and maintenance of conditions inside cold storage facilities.

California-based TDI packages, ships, and distributes fresh fruit and vegetables from local and international growers. After the addition of Novazone's cold storage solutions, TDI reduced tomato decay by up to 40 percent and extended tomato life by two to three weeks over other techniques employed at its Los Angeles facility.
