CARB updates status of TRU emissions standards
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has posted an update on the status of its Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU) Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) In-Use Performance Standards.
This update provides a brief overview of—and the latest developments with—implementation of the ATCM.
Included is an update on the Identification Number (IDN) Application and Operator Report deadline delay, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s waiver approval, CARB’s enforcement policy pending EPA’s authorization approval, Verified Diesel Emissions Control Strategy (VDECS) verifications, and compliance option information.
