Klinge Corporation’s TCR-109 tank container refrigeration unit has been specifically designed for ISO tank containers and is capable of both heating and cooling.

It can be used to accommodate various tank types, food and hazardous cargoes, and other extreme conditions.

This unit has a temperature operating range of –40° to +122° F and a net cooling capacity of 13,500 Btu/hour. The refrigeration unit is a top and bottom design made to fit in the segment between tank and frame.

The TCR-109 can be provided with the BRG-112 Between Rail Generator Set, a self-contained automatic generator designed to operate independently. It has a Yanmar three-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine with an integral 50-gallon fuel tank that provides approximately 65 hours of operation under load.

Both the refrigeration unit and generator set have a welded aluminum frame for corrosion resistance and weight control, and they use stainless steel hardware throughout.
