Webb OEM site earns quality certification

The Webb Wheel Products OEM Business Unit manufacturing facility in Tell City IN has been awarded ISO/TS16949 quality certification. Vehicle component suppliers achieving ISO/TS16949 certification meet rigorous standards for developing a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste.

The Tell City facility is a greenfield site that opened in 2005. It produces hubs, drums, and rotors for heavy-duty trucks and trailers including the new Webb Vortex lightweight gray iron brake drum.
