Thermo King again wins Sysco supplier award

Thermo King was recently recognized as an "Operations Supplier of the Year" by Sysco Corporation, the Houston TX-based foodservice marketer and distributor. The honor was presented at Sysco’s first Super Regional Conference held in Houston recently. This is the second year in a row that Thermo King has won the award.

Winners were chosen by Sysco’s operations personnel and were evaluated on their ability to satisfy Sysco’s requirements in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Criteria also included elements that measure a supplier’s ability to be a good team player: flexibility, innovation, accuracy, a strong sense of professional ethics and integrity, good communications, and quality products and services. The winners received the highest rating in their category.

Sysco Corporation operates 170-plus distribution facilities, serving about 400,000 customers. Thermo King supplies refrigeration units and parts and service support to Sysco.
