The newly combined parts group, HDA Truck Pride, recently held its first board of managers meeting in St Petersburg FL. During the meeting, an executive committee was elected: Chairman David Settles, Weldon Truck Parts, Oklahoma City OK; Secretary John Minor, Midwest Wheel, Des Moines IA; and Treasurer Keith McLemore, Stone Truck Parts, Garner NC.

The committee will take the strategic lead in guiding the combined organization to compete with an expanded footprint, more uniform product offerings, enhanced service network, as well as programs and services. The committee feels that the brand strength of this new unified parts group will increased the allure for the end-user and service provider to utilize HDA Truck Pride as their distribution partner.

Other members of the board of managers include Lyle Bass, Power Train Service, Indianapolis IN; Jay Boggeman, Plaza Fleet Parts, St Louis MO; John Bzeta, Fleet Brake Parts & Service, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Bruce Greer, Kroeger Equipment & Supply Co, Porterville CA; Bill Ryan, Point Spring and Driveshaft Co, Pittsburgh PA; and Tom Gosnell, Flint Ridge LLC, Walton KY.

The HDA Truck Pride management team also recently conducted a five-city regional road show across North America to listen to its distributor members and assess and accelerate its strategic growth plan. The meetings generated considerable positive feedback from which the Executive Committee plans to construct its multi-year business plan.
