• SAF-Holland facility receives quality award

    SAF-Holland's Muskegon, MI facility has won the Masters of Quality Award for 2007 from Daimler Trucks North America, Freightliner Custom Chassis Division.

    SAF-Holland's Muskegon, MI facility has won the Masters of Quality Award for 2007 from Daimler Trucks North America, Freightliner Custom Chassis Division.

    The Muskegon facility, which for almost 60 years has been manufacturing Neway brand air-ride suspensions for heavy-duty vehicles, was one of 48 suppliers chosen to receive the award from more than 1,800 suppliers. Since 1987, Daimler has evaluated suppliers on more than 100 criteria, encompassing quality, delivery, continuous improvement, and customer support.

    Dale Barker and Leo Connolly of Daimler, at a plant-wide ceremony recently, presented the Masters of Quality Award to SAF-Holland's Muskegon management and employees.
