Pumpelly Oil brings Air1 DEF to Texas, Louisiana

In preparation for compliance with January 1, 2010, Clean Air Act regulations, Pumpelly Oil Company has formed an exclusive relationship to supply Yara’s Air1 diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) system by joining Mansfield’s DeliveryOne network, which is the distribution system for Yara in the United States.

This union will allow Pumpelly Oil to meet the Environmental Protection Agency deadline to reduce air pollutant emissions and make Pumpelly Oil the exclusive Air1 distributor for southern Louisiana and southern Texas.

Yara is a pioneer in the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) industry and began providing Air1 DEF in Europe, Asia and Australia five years ago. Air1 now has the largest single global market share in DEF sales.

In the past month, Pumpelly Oil has trained eight of its local sales representatives as certified Air1 specialists under the DeliveryOne program. These professionals will educate fleet customers on emission standards, provide scalable equipment systems, and lend support and service.
