Clean Burn has introduced the CB-500-CTB. The large-capacity used-oil coil tube boiler can recycle large volumes of used oil (3.6 gallons of used oil per hour), a larger amount than the company's original CB-200-CTB and CB-350-CTB models.
Designed to recycle used oil and produce hot water, the CB-500-CTB can be used for in-floor, baseboard and space heating, as well as for ice melt applications. The CB-500-CTB has an input rating of 500,000 Btu.
The CB-500-CTB weighs 1,600 pounds and can heat an area of more than 12,000 square feet. The unit has a low-mass design that holds just 20.6 gallons of water, yet 37 gallons per minute flow through the coil.
Clean Burn also manufactures three types of used-oil furnaces for different-size operations including the Compact Used-Oil Furnace (Model CB-1400), Low Profile Used-Oil Furnaces (Models CB-1750 and CB-2500) and the Large Volume Used-Oil Furnaces (Models CB-3500 and CB-5000). The company's Used-Oil Recycling Center works in tandem with Clean Burn used-oil furnaces and is a self-contained, on-site recycling and heating system that allows businesses to store and burn used oil conveniently and efficiently.
