Actron, provider of OBDII diagnostic tools, offers the new PocketScan Plus (product #CP9550) OBDII and CAN Code Reader for professional mechanics and do-it-yourselfers.

The PocketScan Plus is designed to automatically read diagnostic trouble codes when connected to a vehicle for fast diagnostics, delivering more than 4,000 on-screen code definitions for the user. Compatible with all 1996 and newer model vehicles, the PocketScan Plus also provides Freeze Frame data, VIN information, MIL status, and pending codes.

In addition, PocketScan Plus performs inspection maintenance (I/M) readiness testing by displaying the I/M readiness monitor status on the screen. This ensures that the vehicle’s system has evaluated the emissions systems for proper operation.

“Our advanced diagnostic tool is ideal for use both before and after repairs are made, and its compact design allows for easy storage in a home or professional garage,” said Jennifer Grabowski, product manager with Actron.
