The new Serco Rapid Install is a faster track installation system for vertical lift commercial door applications, Entrematic (Loading Dock Products) announced.

Designed specifically for commercial warehouse and dock doors, the Serco Rapid Install for vertical lift commercial doors uses quality standard Serco 2-inch or 1-3/8-inch steel sections and a simplified track and hardware configuration. Tested to more than 10,000 cycles to ensure long-term performance, the Rapid Install system also uses a durable, heavy .063-gauge one-piece track.  Self-lubricating nylon rollers and wide body hinges are standard hardware that’s provided.

“A shorter installation time lowers labor costs and significantly increases safety with the Rapid Install system,” said Michael Brittingham, manager, marketing services. “Carefully engineered to require fewer trips up and down the wall during installation, Rapid Install only requires one person to install—which reduces labor costs even more.”

Fewer wall anchors are required due to the Rapid Install system’s simplified hardware configuration features. That alone reduces amount of drilling required. The one-piece vertical lift track also features an integrated end bearing plate,  which means less assembly at the job site. The heavy .063 gauge, one-piece track is available for doors up to 9 feet-2 inches wide and 10 feet high.

The Rapid Install system is available on all Serco steel sectional doors with standard 2-inch track or an upgrade to 3-inch track for heavy-duty applications.

A keyed hollow shaft used with a commercial operator or hoist, 10-ball steel rollers, high cycle springs, 16-gauge end and center stiles, as well as wind load options are available optional upgrades.
