TODCO, a division of Overhead Door Corporation, announces 60 years of service to the trucking industry. The company manufactures dry freight and insulated roll-up doors, dry freight swing doors, walk ramps and aftermarket parts and products with distribution worldwide.

“TODCO is proud of our 60 years of innovation and customer support for our valued OEM and distributor partners and fleet customers.  We look forward to the future with great optimism,” said Joe Owen, president.

Begun in 1957 in Hartford City IN, the company relocated to Marion OH in 1962, where products are still manufactured.  TODCO has a second factory in Tecate, Mexico that was relocated from Fresno CA in 2008.

The firm was the first door manufacturer to introduce stainless steel door cables, UV-cured prime and top coat, MS (Maximum Security) lock, tongue and groove panel joints, light weight fiberglass insulated doors, composite WeatherTite dry freight doors, 1- and 2-inch SupeRollers, as well as many other products.

To help celebrate 60 years in business, TODCO is searching for the oldest TODCO roll-up door that is still in operation and on the road. The winner will receive a check for $1,000 and a new TODCO door in exchange for the original door so it can be placed on display in TODCO’s R & D department.

Email photos, door serial number and contact information to [email protected] by July 31, 2017. The winner will be announced and contacted by August 31.
