Maxxima’s Vionic combination DRL, low-beam headlight provided as LED

Nov. 27, 2017
Learn more about the Maxxima Vionic combination daytime running light (DRL) and low-beam headlight available as an LED.

Maxxima, provider of LED lighting for commercial vehicles and industrial applications, has introduced the Vionic 4X6 Combo DRL/Low-Beam LED headlight, the first combination daytime running light (DRL) and low-beam headlight available as an LED.

The Vionic 4X6 Combo DRL/Low-Beam headlight is a 12/24 VDC lamp that can be used as a direct replacement for halogen lamps on vehicles equipped with OEM DRLs. Built-in sensors will automatically recognize the vehicle’s modulated voltage system, allowing the lamp to perform flawlessly as a DRL with no interfacing problems.

The latest in Maxxima’s Vionic series of LED highlight, the 4X6 Combo lamp uses five LEDs with separate, dedicated diodes for DRL and low-beam functions. It incorporates a wider beam for increased road coverage and superior near-field illumination, and the lightweight, low-profile design and polycarbonate lens with Maxx-Shield coating deliver maximum durability.

Other key features include:

•FMVSS-108 and CMVSS-108 compliant

•Standard OEM blade connector

•Dimensions—6.6 x 4.2 x 3.7 inches

•Weight—1.5 lbs

•Five-year warranty

The Vionic 4X6 Combo DRL/Low-Beam LED headlight (part #VHL-4X6DRL) is available in the United States and Canada through Maxxima’s network of aftermarket distributors. Maxxima’s Vionic series also includes the Vionic 4X6 Low-Beam LED and 4X6 High-Beam LED headlights.
