CAS DataLoggers has introduced the new I-Plug Dry Ice data loggers from SwiTrace.

Available in both IPST8U single-use and IPMT8U multi-use models, they are designed to record temperatures down to –80° C and are suitable for use with dry ice shipments. They offer built-in alarm indicators that support up to four user-programmable high/low alarm limits, a programmable sample rate and storage for 8,000 points to allow monitoring trips up to 30 days in duration.

No special software is required to generate reports; simply plug them into a computer and download the data directly as a PDF file.

Key features of the SwiTrace I-Plug include:

• Temperature range –80° to +20° C

• Battery-powered—up to one-year life

• USB 2.0 interface

• Records in either degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit

• Free online track and trace software

The I-Plug Dry Ice loggers are designed for applications that require recording low-temperature measurements such as life science and pharmaceutical cold chain and storage monitoring.
