Thermo King Central Carolinas, located off Statesville Road in Charlotte NC, is celebrating its 25th silver anniversary in 2019.

The dealership is part of the Conveysis family of companies owned by Peter Hollett and includes Triad Thermo King, Thermo King of Roanoke, Mountaineer Thermo King (Charleston WV), Advantage Fleet Roanoke & Charleston, AirVantage Solutions and MrTruckParts.com.

Hollett opened the bay doors at Thermo King Central Carolinas a quarter of a century ago, and the dealership has been providing transport refrigeration products and services ever since. Much has changed in the industry since then, especially in technology and legislation such as the advent of battery-powered auxiliary power units, solar solutions, and mandatory electronic logging devices (ELDs) for trucks and truckers.

“Thermo King Corporation is innovative and dedicated to producing high-quality, temperature-control solutions for the transportation industry,” said Hollett. “At Thermo King Central Carolinas, we are investing in our systems, buildings, service capabilities and especially our people to be ready or the demands of the marketplace.”

One thing is certain; the next 25 years will see many more changes in the transportation industry. Businesses that rely on moving temperature-sensitive food-related products locally, regionally and/or nationally can expect Thermo King Central Carolinas to continue adapt to meet those challenges.
