Eagle Truck Center, based in Shreveport since 2007, gives the refrigerated trailer provider its first dealership presence in the Bayou State.

Polar King Mobile (PKM) recently added Eagle Truck Center as its newest dealer.

Their collaboration delivers PKM’s first dealership presence in Louisiana, enhancing the accessibility to its over-the-road cold storage solutions for customers in the region, the companies reported.

Based in Shreveport, Louisiana, Eagle Truck Center has been part of the local trucking industry since 2007, offering sales and servicing for both new and used trucks. “We’re eager to introduce a new product line to the area and look forward to opportunities with previously untapped market segments,” Keith Rutherford, Eagle president, said in a news release.

American-made PKM refrigerated and freezer trailers boast electric functionality and versatile design for various industries, including foodservice, catering, hunting, and farming; and artisan businesses such as florists and bakeries. All units are NSF-listed and adhere to National Association of Trailer Manufacturers standards, ensuring quality and compliance, PKM maintained. Their seamless fiberglass exterior promotes a sanitary environment, crucial for preserving the integrity of goods, particularly in hot and humid conditions prevalent in Louisiana and neighboring states.

“As proud members of the North American Trailer Dealer Association, we’re actively looking to strategically expand our network with the right business partners,” said Christian Aitken, PKM executive vice president.
