Polar Leasing Company recently named Johnson Specialized Transportation its 2023 Depot of the Year.

The annual accolade acknowledges freight partners that excel in overcoming challenges, demonstrating effective communication, and upholding outstanding service while facilitating the delivery and retrieval of Polar Leasing’s rental walk-in units for mutual customers, the company reported.

“The Johnson team stands out with an unwavering commitment to excellence, reliability, and a collaborative spirit that truly sets them apart,” Bart Tippmann, Polar Leasing president, said in a news release. “Their embodiment of the qualities we highly value in a partner makes us immensely proud to celebrate their exceptional contributions to our success at Polar Leasing.”

Founded in 1990, Johnson Specialized is based in the Philadelphia suburbs. With a focus on heavy-duty tow trucks and specialized equipment, the company positions itself as a go-to solutions provider for a range of vehicles, including semi-trucks, buses, RVs, tractor/trailers, and heavy construction equipment.

“We are huge advocates for Polar Leasing,” said Aimee Johnson, Johnson Specialized transportation director. “Since 2015, our partnership has felt like family. If an issue were to arise, we are confident that the PLC team will offer prompt assistance and extraordinary communication. Their dedication to their partners is truly remarkable. We also have a great team here and take pride in delivering the units.

“This is truly a team effort.”
