Double A Utility Trailer Sales recently celebrated the grand opening of its new dealership in Northwood, Ohio, just south of Toledo.

Ambrose Wannemacher established the family-owned company, a part of the Utility Trailer Manufacturing dealer network since 2021, in 1965 in Delphos, Ohio. Wannemacher’s granddaughter, Leann Wannemacher, now heads operations at both sites. Double A completed construction of its second Northwest Ohio facility last summer and has been operating the new facility since then. The new space allows Double A to expand its new and used trailer sales, aftermarket parts and service, rental capabilities, and more, the company reported.

The facility is situated near the Ohio-Michigan border, with easy access from I-75 and the US 90 turnpike. The new building features office space, a parts showroom, parts warehouse, and a shop with heated floors, eight service bays, and ample trailer parking.

“We are proud to have opened our new state-of-the-art facility off Exit 198, Wales Road, in Toledo,” Leann Wannemacher, Double A owner and CEO, said in a news release. “Given this strategic location in Northwest Ohio, we are confident in our ability to provide superior service and support to the Utility network and its loyal customer base.

“We are honored to announce our management team in Toledo has over 100-plus years of combined industry knowledge and experience.”

The celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on June 7 in front of dozens of guests, including Utility, various component suppliers, customers, and local dignitaries.

“Double A Utility Trailer Sales has proven to be a great addition to our growing dealer network,” said Steve Bennett, Utility president and COO. “The success they’ve had in Delphos and their expansion into the Toledo market, further shows their commitment to providing their customers with excellent service and accessibility to quality products.”
