The world’s largest clean fleet show—all fuels and weight classes

As we head into a new year with petroleum prices plummeting around the globe, the nation’s leading fleet operators continue to push forward with alternative fuels and efficiency technologies. Despite slimming margins on fuel cost savings, experienced fleets know that historically unstable petroleum prices can climb just as sharply as they drop. Alternative fuels, like natural gas and propane autogas, provide long-term price stability that fleets crave when setting their operating budgets and multi-year contracts. And following the EPA’s proposal to lower ozone standards, the transportation industry—the single largest contributor to air pollution—will undoubtedly be put under the microscope. Cue ACT Expo.

Set for May 4-7 in Dallas, the 2015 Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo provides fleet managers with a true one-stop shop for the efficiency improvement technologies and alternative fuels, from electric, hybrid, hydrogen and natural gas, to propane autogas, renewables and more.

As a fuel-neutral show, ACT Expo joins forces with leading industry associations to craft the program, among them the Propane Education and Research Council, the Electric Drive Transportation Assn., the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE), Carbon War Room, and NGV Global.

The 2015 ACT Expo program is crafted in partnership with a mix of high-volume fleets, including Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Enterprise Fleet Management, PG&E, Penske, Ryder, UPS, and Walmart, along with several other leading fleet operators, as well as a U.S. Dept. of Energy Clean Cities committee. Event highlights include:

    • Fleet-centric agenda. The nation’s most progressive public and private fleets will speak about their partnerships and strategies that have allowed them to successfully implement landmark clean technology and efficiency improvement projects to reduce costs and emissions. Attendees can expect insight into total cost of ownership and the ROIs that have made these projects fruitful.
    • Industry’s largest dedicated expo hall. Thousands of clean transportation industry leaders are set to take over the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center for the world’s largest clean fleet event. ACT Expo features the largest exhibit hall showcasing the latest fuels and technologies across all applications; EVs, HEVs and PHEVs; LNG, CNG, and propane autogas; biofuels; vehicle charging and refueling technology, equipment and station providers; a trucking efficiency showcase; an electric drive zone; and more.
    • Educational technical tours. AFVs are gaining considerable momentum throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region, with several electric drive projects recently announced, and expanding infrastructure for biofuels, natural gas, and propane. Attendees can participate in guided off-site technical tours to receive real-time demonstrations for facilities that utilize alternative fuels daily.
    • Co-located industry events. ACT Expo will be co-located with several exciting events, including the Propane Education and Research Council Summit, a Trucking Efficiency workshop hosted by NACFE and Carbon War Room, Women in ACT Summit, BSR Future of Fuels Forum, the 20th anniversary of the Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coalition, and more.

For hands-on access to AFV fleet case studies, a full clean vehicle and efficiency showcase, and networking with all of the major industry players, plan to join us at ACT Expo this May in Dallas. To learn more, visit www.actexpo.com.
