Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores recently opened its sixth "fast-fill" compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling island for heavy trucks at its Oak Cliff, TX, facility located right outside Dallas on I-20; technology that allows truck drivers to refuel CNG-fired trucks at a fill rate of greater than 10 equvalent-gallons per minute, meaning a 100 gallon equivalent CNG tank can be reloaded in 10 minutes or less. Love's expects to eventually craft a 16 "fast fill" CNG pump network at its truck stops linking New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio together.
