A new video designed to educate tank-truck drivers about rollover incidents and how to prevent them has been released by the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) and the American Trucking Assns. (ATA).

The video, Cargo Tank Driver Rollover Prevention Video, was produced in collaboration with the U.S. Dept. of Transportation. It features truck drivers discussing the contributing factors to tanker rollover incidents and steps drivers can take to prevent them.

“Although rollovers are rare, we recognize that they can be serious,” said NTTC president John Conley. “This outreach video is part of our proactive commitment to work with the government or anyone else in improving truck safety and minimizing the risk of such incidents.”

The video can be viewed here. DVD copies are available upon request.

“We were pleased to have the opportunity to work so closely with the government safety community, and are proud of the important driver training video that resulted from this successful collaboration,” said ATA president & CEO Gov. Bill Graves.
