Driver safety webinar June 28

June 26, 2012

A free driver safety webinar will be held on Thursday, June 28, at 2 p.m. EDT. The webinar, to be hosted by Trimble, will cover how to implement a safe driving program, how to mitigate risk and help control insurance costs and what technology is available to manage driver behavior.

The webinar, “Creating a Safe Driving Culture,” is being offered in conjunction with the National Safety Council’s (NSC) Driver Safety Week this week.

“While safety is important year-round, June is when we can come together to encourage safe behaviors around preventing injuries and deaths,” said Janet Froetscher, National Safety Council president and CEO. “This includes driving safety as car crashes remain the leading cause of unintentional deaths in the workplace.”

According to the NSC, a workplace crash can cost an employer more than $24,000, and more than $125,000 if there’s an injury. By implementing a driver safety program, organizations can lower the risk of these incidents and help protect its human and financial resources.

To register for the Webinar, visit www.trimble.com/fsm, call 1-877-728-7623, or email [email protected].
