National Tank Truck Carriers recognizes Dupré for excellence in safety

May 2, 2013

The National Tank Truck Carriers Assn. (NTTC) has recognized Dupré Logistics with the Grand Award in the 31.5 – 40 million mile class in personnel safety.

Dupré has a long history of carrying hazardous materials via tank truck and has been a NTTC member since 1984.  As a full service logistics provider, Dupré drivers were ranked in this first place category due to their lack of personnel injuries in the preceding year, NTTC said.

“Dupré has a long history with NTTC, we have a shared commitment to safety of our drivers and all on the road.   We appreciate the recognition of our company’s commitment to safety,” said Al LaCombe, Dupré Logistics director of safety and security.

The Personnel Safety Award, which spotlights Dupré Logistics’ safety record and commitment to personal injury reduction, represents the top honor for carriers in their class, NTTC said. Dupré’s comprehensive safety program combines technology, driver behavior review and a number of other elements that has led Dupré to receive numerous safety recognitions.
