The National Private Truck Council’s (NPTC) annual National Safety Conference will be held September 3-5 at the Omni Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. More than 300 private fleet professionals are expected to attend this intense, two-day educational forum. Registration is now open.
“Private fleets are taking bold and decisive action to improve safety, to raise the bar on compliance, and to mitigate liability—thus protecting the corporate interests, financials, and image,” Gary Petty, NPTC president and CEO, said.
The 2025 National Safety Conference is designed to provide attendees with insights and solutions for strategic safety and security operations during various general sessions, panel discussions, problem-solving safety-in-the-round breakout meetings, driver recognition, and networking opportunities.
The program schedule includes timely and relevant discussion on the application of artificial intelligence in safety, strategies to help mitigate the impact of nuclear verdicts, active safety technologies, the Washington Report update on regulations, benchmarking safety trends, and the fallacy of private fleet outsourcing as a strategy to escape liability.
NPTC will also offer a series of discussions on workers’ compensation, extended equipment trade cycles, the dispatcher’s role in safety, strategies to reduce speeding, safety rewards and recognition, and driver coaching best practices.
